Romans 1:18 NKJV
For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them.
Nahum 1:2-3 NKJV
God is jealous, and the Lord avenges; The Lord avenges and is furious. The Lord will take vengeance on His adversaries, And He reserves wrath for His enemies; The Lord is slow to anger and great in power, And will not at all acquit the wicked.
God's wrath is very serious business and must be viewed with the utmost sobriety. It is so serious in fact that God didn't even spare His own Son to appease it. His anger will finally come to a resolution and justice against the wicked will rightly be served at Christ's Second Coming.
May we not wait until that fateful hour but come to Him now...for today is the day of salvation. - JSS
