Jeremiah 31:33 KJV
But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
Hebrews 10:15-17 KJV
Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before,
This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;
And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.
Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before,
This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;
And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.
If someone has been converted to the Christian faith by the
wisdom of men, all it would take is the wisdom of unconverted men to
talk him out of his faith. However, if he is transformed by the power of
God, he is not solely motivated to Christianity by his intellect. The
Holy Spirit has convicted him of sin, righteousness, and judgment. The
motivation is the Law of God working upon his conscience. That has given
him the knowledge that he has offended a holy God. His repentance is
therefore directed at God, who responds in mercy. Those who are
converted by God cannot be talked out of their faith because they were
not talked into it.
